Assessment of the feet, skin, and circulation

Diabetes, hypertension, peripheral vascular disease, and other conditions can impact the health of your feet.  The nurse practitioner will examine and assess your feet for health-related changes. 

 

Diabetic Wound Care

The nurse practitioner is diabetic wound-certified and wound-care-certified.  If you have a wound on the foot or leg, Joyful Feet will offer evidence-based care to encourage wound healing. 

Edema Management

Individuals with heart disease, kidney disease, or excess weight may have edema that impairs wound healing.   The foot care nurse practitioner will work with your other healthcare professionals to find compression that will work for you .
